THE COFFEE ME UP STORY

Welcome and thank you for visiting Coffee Me Up.
We are a husband and wife team who believe that a small act of love and kindness will cause a ripple affect passed on from one to an other and so on throughout the community. Our mission is to share this and make it a part of everyone’s day when they visit Coffee Me Up. We believe in the human connection, positive energy, caring and sharing all matters of the heart. These little things are a huge part of our lives. They mean a lot to us and we have committed to serving you well and we will always keep our word. We realize that every detail matters, so we decided to start with the physical space that makes you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door. We built Coffee ME Up together with the help of some great friends from start to finish over the course of five months. Paying close attention to every detail to ensure we instill a warm & comfortable cozy feeling the moment you walk in. We wanted it to be white, bright, and cheerful.

We pay as much attention to detail on the coffee and food we serve. We realize that this also makes a huge impact in achieving our mission. We make sure that our espresso is ground, tamped and extracted properly. This means that your espresso based beverages such as macchiatos, lattes, and cappuccinos all taste amazing. Not too sour, not too bitter, just right; basically no sugar needed. Oh and yes, we do pay as much attention to our pastries, breakfast and lunch sandwiches.

Lastly, we aim to create a happy, caring, and pleasant home away from home. We care about our team, and are striving each day to teach and inspire by example. We are learning and growing in this together. Ultimately the goal is to serve you the same high quality service and product when we are not there. After all the biggest satisfaction is teaching our staff how to best serve our customer and fulfill our mission.

In a city seemingly saturated with hip coffee shops, Coffee ME Up is a standout. The young couple who run the shop appear committed to providing top value to customers. They try to source products locally where possible, make smoothies from whole fruits without added sweeteners, serve amazing cold brew from stainless steel with filtered water and they flush the system every day, and they bake their products in-house. Best meringues ever. I don’t even drink coffee much, and I love what they brew. And they’ve paid particular attention to creating a warm atmosphere with great ambience (and many available power outlets!). I rarely write reviews, but I was inspired by these folks. This is a business worth supporting! – Ben
I had to comeback. This time around Mittle (I hope I spelled it right) the owner/co owner was there and he was a delight. Very humble, knowledgeable and welcoming to everyone who came through the door. He chatted with everyone, trying to get them personally and offering help when needed. He told us, he couldn’t make a lot of designs on the latte but everything he made a leaf, he was very content with it. I always love it when owners don’t have a wall up when you visit their place. That is part of customer service.

Don’t walk, run there! – Nora
